A slow-growing shrub, dense in form, with annual growth of about 5 to 7 cm. The foliage is greenish, turning reddish in autumn. Soil requirements are average, slightly moist. It should be planted in a sunny location, sheltered from the wind. Suitable for: rock gardens, home gardens, heather beds, and alpine gardens.
